The most famous attraction in Varanasi are the ghats. These are the stairs that lead to the River Ganges. There are many different ghats in Varanasi, each with their own name and theme. When you walk along the river, you actually walk from ghat to ghat. It is a very interesting walk that you can easily do yourself.
